BIO:
HOG CALLER was formed in November 2004 by The Dirtfarmer (Tom Richards) and Vomitrocious (Steve O'Donnell) as a grind project to get through the winter. Locked away at Repugnant Trough Studios in Middletown, Pennsylvania they emerged within six months with over two dozen tracks. They floated the first demo down the Susquehanna River to Bill Y. at Last House On The Right Records, he had a listen and said he will prepare to release it on a split CD titled "Proper Parasite Mannerisms" with crazed grinders HEADCRASH from the Netherlands (Release date August 2005).
Later that same year and into the first half of 2006 they recorded sixteen tracks for the full-length CD "Predestined For Hell" on Last House On The Right Records (Release date May 2006) and managed to shoot two videos - one for “Proper Parasite Mannerisms” and one for “Predestined For Hell”. In the second half of 2006 they recorded three tracks for a split with Poland's Patologicum, two tracks for the Pornogrind Comp "Real Men Watch Porn" (LHOTR Records due to be released), and completed seven tracks for a split with Illinios BBQ Baron's Lincoln Love Log (LHOTR Records due to be released).
By the end of 2007 they completed their eighth video and plan on shooting several more that will be part of a full-length DVD titled “The Lost Realities of Hog Caller”.
Influenced by early grind/death/doom/sludge/stoner bands Hog Caller will continue to shoot, edit videos and record new tracks in to the future at a hogs pace.
Steve O'Donnell was the guitar player in grind legends Exit-13 and to this day has one of the harshest noise CD's to his credit, PICA-"The Doctor Ate The Evidence" on Release Records.
